About the speaker:
Jess has over 15 years of experience in education and training, beginning in primary education and later progressing into post-16 settings, including colleges and universities. She has extensive expertise in safeguarding children and adults and has delivered foundation and bachelor’s degree courses for Bangor University. Alongside her educational work, Jess has supported families in refuges across North Wales, helping children express and process their emotions through play therapy during times of transition and crisis.
Jess delivers a range of specialist training, including Ask and Act (Groups 2 and 3), Youth Ask and Act, The Effects of Domestic Abuse on Children and Young People, Child and Adolescent to Parent Violence and Abuse (CAPVA), and Understanding and Responding to Street Harassment and Stalking in the Modern Day. Her combination of frontline experience and safeguarding expertise enables her to deliver trauma-informed, compassionate, and impactful training that supports professionals working with children, young people, and families affected by domestic abuse and coercive control.
